Why Vital Body Metrics?
The number on the scale doesn’t tell the whole story.
Through my years of coaching at Her Strength Studio I've seen firsthand how important muscle is—not just for how we look or perform, but for how we live and age. I’ve also seen how easy it is to focus on weight without knowing what’s actually changing. Someone can lose weight without knowing how much is body fat versus muscle. Someone can exercise consistently while the scale barely moves, even though their body composition is improving. And as we get older, maintaining muscle can become just as important as losing weight.

With the growing use of GLP-1 medications, this information is becoming even more important. People may be successfully losing weight, but they also need a way to monitor whether they are maintaining the muscle that supports strength, function and healthy aging.
That’s why we created Vital Body Metrics.
We use advanced body composition analysis to provide detailed, objective measurements of muscle, body fat, visceral fat and other key metrics—giving people information the scale alone simply can’t provide.
Advanced Body Composition Assessments

Detailed, objective body composition data to reliably track changes over time.
Beyond the Scale
BEYOND THE SCALE
Your weight tells you how much you weigh. It doesn’t tell you what that weight is made of.
Two people can weigh exactly the same but have very different amounts of muscle and body fat. And your weight can stay relatively stable even while your body composition is changing.
That’s why we look beyond the number on the scale.
ADVANCED BODY COMPOSITION TECHNOLOGY
The InBody 380 uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). Not all BIA technology is the same. The InBody 380 goes beyond the simple BIA found in many home scales by using advanced measurement technology to provide a more detailed picture of your body composition.
1. 8-Point Contact
Eight contact points at your hands and feet allow the InBody to send measurements through different areas of your body—not just from foot to foot like many home scales.
2. Direct Segmental Measurement
Rather than treating your body as one measurement, the InBody measures your arms, legs and trunk separately, giving us insight into muscle distribution throughout your body.
3. Multiple Frequencies
The InBody uses multiple, safe electrical frequencies to gather more detailed information about your body tissues and body water than a simple single-frequency measurement.
4. No Empirical Estimations
Instead of relying on formulas based on factors such as age or sex to predict what your body composition should be, InBody uses your measured impedance data to calculate your results.
